AGM 2021
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Under rules imposed by the Charity Commission, the Civilian Welfare Committee of 2497 (Cosford) Squadron ATC represents the parents and guardians of cadets, who form the Squadron Association. The purpose of the committee is to act as trustees of squadron assets and funds and to collect and administer those funds. They are also there to support the squadron staff and oversee any issues relating to welfare. You can read more and view current committee members here.
The members of the committee must be elected annually at an AGM, with a maximum number of 12. These members can be parents or guardians of past or present cadets, as well as representatives of the local community. The statutory offices of the committee are Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer together with an honorary President and Chaplain.
It is a requirement of the Charity Commission that we ask for any nominations for the position of Chairperson, Treasurer, or Secretary together with the name of a seconder.
When: Fri 12 March 2021 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start via Microsoft Teams
The present situation is difficult indeed. But can I thank you for your past support and involvement with the squadron. We look forward to being able to resume normal activities as soon as possible.
Robert Parry
Chairman
